Field&Flask Brand Design
Craft Spirits Ontario, a collection of Ontario craft distillers was in need of a brand for their collaborative retail endeavour. I worked with them to develop a brand that feels quality, adventurous and true to Ontario. The name we settled on was Field&Flask

Logo
The customized type faces used in this logo represent the process of making spirits. The flowing, rounded, and more handwritten feeling typeface on top represents the Ontario fields where the process starts.
And the sharp edges and barrelled sides of the bottom typeface represent the flask, a symbol of high quality, the final step in the process.
Iconography
I developed a set of icons for use in labeling in store and a useful asset to have in the tool belt. The icons represent the four main crops used to make spirits, potatoes, juniper berries, corn, and sugar cane.

Patterns
These patterns are another useful asset for the brand. They are meant to represent the fields of Ontario so important to locally crafted spirits.
Merchandise & Signage
An important part of the branding strategy involves creating recognizability within the space. The target customer likes to feel like part of an exclusive club, and well designed merchandise and stores create the sense that this is a club you want to be a part of.
